Financial Centre Scorecard for Funds

In collaboration with Management Consultant FISECO the Brokerage Pool has adapted a financial centre scorecard to determining the right choice for global and European corporate fund management jurisdictions. The result summarizes our several inquiries and research about leading financial centers and their users. The result was adapted to follow the demand of typical fund business propositions to set-up a scorecard. The scorecard is a comfortable module enabling decision takers for ongoing monitoring of financial centers and obtaining the most suitable jurisdiction for their growth of fund business.

The scorecard includes over 80 different economic and intellectual capital factors that play a critical role and a weighting mechanism considers the individual perspectives of fund initiators. Of particular importance are those factors based upon what can be described as the intellectual capital of a financial center. These factors are regularly not in the comparisons of general media or even specialist reports of management consultants. The tool is valuable for both, the start-up or repositioning of future fund domiciles and for controlling the efficiency of once selected, existing domiciles. The scorecard is used to help advising fund companies as well as institutional investors.
